Farming is what I do! I’ve been in the pig industry for most of my life! I have raised pigs almost every way possible, including sows giving birth to piglets in mud holes to climate-controlled barn through the use of computers. I raise corn and beans in north-central Iowa. I currently have an off-farm job in the field of, get this- pig production! I’m involved with industry related organizations to have input in the world around me.

I enjoy my family and my wife, Janice, and I have five kids, 10 grandchildren, one step granddaughter and one great granddaughter!

We are members of and love going to Bethel Reformed Church where I serve as Elder and on other committees.
